Travellers to pay $150 for covid-19 test on arrival in Ghana

Passengers arriving in Ghana on or after Tuesday, September 1, 2020 will have to pay US$150 for the COVID-19 test before their admission by immigration into the country, Aviation Ghana sources have revealed.

Reliable sources have informed OneMinuteGH that the cost is to be made known at a press conference to be held at the entrance of the Arrival Hall of the Kotoka International Airport on Monday, August 31.

This comes after President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo announced during his 16th address to the nation on measures taken by the government to curb the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country that the Kotoka International Airport will be reopened to international flights effective, Tuesday, September 1,2020.
