We’ll ignore NDC’s insults, we’re focused on winning December polls – Bawumia
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), affirmed his commitment to a positive campaign focused on the NPP’s accomplishments, despite “insults” from the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC). Speaking on November 2 during his tour of the Tano North constituency, Dr. Bawumia highlighted his team’s resolve to stay focused on securing victory based on the party’s track record in governance.
Joined by his spokesperson, Dr. Gideon Boako, Dr. Bawumia engaged with residents of Duayaw Nkwanta, rounding off his two-day visit to the Ahafo Region. Later in Dormaa, Dr. Bawumia pledged infrastructure improvements, including road development from Tepa to Duayaw Nkwanta and the construction of a district hospital in Dormaa.
In a show of support, Dr. Boako, who is contesting the Tano North parliamentary seat, assured Dr. Bawumia of local support for the NPP in the upcoming elections. “Even if the NDC eats bags of salt, I will win the seat,” Boako declared, expressing confidence in the constituency’s endorsement of both his candidacy and Dr. Bawumia’s presidential bid.
Dr. Bawumia’s emphasis on infrastructure and developmental projects reflects the NPP’s strategy to highlight its contributions to local communities as a basis for electoral success.
