President Mahama Nominates Deputy Ministers for Key Portfolios
Accra, Ghana – February 5, 2025 – President John Dramani Mahama has nominated several individuals for Deputy Ministerial positions as part of his administration’s efforts to strengthen governance and policy implementation.
Key Appointments:
- Justice Srem Sai – Deputy Minister-Designate for Attorney General and Justice
- John Dumelo (MP for Ayawaso West Wuogon) – Deputy Minister-Designate for Agriculture
- Thomas Ampem Nyarko (MP for Asuogyaman) – Deputy Finance Minister-Designate
- Dr. Clement Apaak (MP for Builsa South) – Deputy Education Minister-Designate
- Sampson Ahi (MP for Bodi) – Deputy Minister-Designate for Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry
The appointments were announced by Felix Ofosu Kwakye, the Spokesperson for President Mahama. These nominations, pending parliamentary approval, reflect the administration’s strategy to bolster leadership across key sectors, including justice, agriculture, finance, education, and trade.
