President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, as part of his three-day campaign tour in the Ashanti Region, is scheduled to undertake a series of official engagements today, November 25, 2024. His itinerary highlights his commitment to infrastructure development, particularly in healthcare and public service facilities.
The President will commence the day in Drobonso, located in the Sekyere Afram Plains District, where he will officially commission the Sekyere Afram Plains District Hospital. This will be followed by an inauguration ceremony for another district hospital in Sabronum, Ahafo Ano South-East District.
Continuing his healthcare-focused activities, he will make a stop in Trede, Atwima Kwanwoma, to open the Trede District Hospital. The tour will then shift focus to transportation infrastructure as he commissions the Atafoa-Owabi River Bridge in Bantama, which is expected to enhance connectivity and facilitate economic activity in the area.
The day’s events will culminate in Suame, where the Suame Municipal Hospital will be commissioned, providing essential medical services to the community. President Akufo-Addo will conclude his engagements in Adum with the unveiling of a newly constructed office complex for the Audit Service, reinforcing his administration’s commitment to strengthening public institutions.
