Couple killed by Hezbollah rocket fire in northern Israel

The ongoing conflict between Hezbollah and Israel has escalated further, with Hezbollah launching over 150 rockets into northern Israel, killing two civilians in Kiryat Shmona. The rocket strikes, targeting Israeli forces, have led to extensive damage, injuries, and growing fear among Israeli residents, many of whom have evacuated.

Israel has responded with airstrikes and ground operations to dismantle Hezbollah’s infrastructure in southern Lebanon. Battles between Israeli forces and Hezbollah fighters are intensifying, with casualties reported on both sides. Hezbollah continues to fire rockets in support of Palestinians following the conflict sparked by Hamas’s attack on Israel in October 2023.
In addition to the strikes in northern Israel, Israeli forces have targeted Hezbollah positions across southern Lebanon. Lebanese civilians have also suffered, with reports of four deaths and several injuries in Israeli airstrikes, including one on a hotel housing displaced families.

The situation remains highly volatile, with cross-border hostilities showing no signs of easing. Both sides continue to engage in military actions, raising concerns about further casualties and regional instability.
